Short version
We collect what you need to have an account and the programmes you put in it. We do not sell it, we do not show you ads, and we do not track you across other apps or websites. You can delete your account from inside the app at any time.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address, name, and, if you give them, your company and role.
- Your password: stored only as a one-way hash. We never see or keep the password itself.
- Your programmes: the programmes, tasks, dates, links, baselines, resources, scenarios, folders and logos you create or import.
- Sign-in and activity records: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, when you last used the app, and, for programmes, who last changed them and when.
- Security records: the network address a sign-in or sign-up comes from, held briefly to limit repeated attempts.
How we use it
To run your account, show your programmes to you and to the people you share them with, send the emails the app needs (welcome, invitations, password resets), and keep the service secure. If you choose to use an AI feature, such as describing a project to draft a programme, the text you submit is processed to produce that draft. It is not used to train any model.
Who else handles it
- Cloudflare hosts the app and its database, and runs the AI features.
- Resend delivers the app's emails.
- Stripe processes payment if you buy a paid plan on the web. We never see your card details.
Each handles your information only to provide that service to us. We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
Sharing inside Plannr
A programme is visible to the people its editors add to it. If an editor creates a read-only share link, anyone holding that link can view that programme until the link is revoked.
Dictation on the Mac app
If you use dictation in the Mac app, it asks for microphone access and turns your speech into text using the speech recognition built into macOS. Only the resulting text is placed in the app.
Keeping and deleting your information
We keep your account and programmes while your account is open. To delete everything, open Settings → Delete my account in the app. That removes your account, your sign-in, your folders, and every programme nobody else is on, straight away. Programmes you share with other people stay with them. You can also ask us to delete your account by emailing [email protected].
Your rights
You can see and correct your account details in the app, and ask us for a copy of your information or for its deletion at any time. Programmes can be exported from the app as MS Project XML and CSV.
Children
Plannr is a work tool and is not directed at children.
